AVAILABLE ANY TIME FROM END JULY two massive sunny double rooms in friendly professional houseshare with garden in our beautifully refurbished tidy non-smoking period house with cleaner 2 mins from Hackney Downs park. Rooms nicely furnished with double bed, pine chest of drawers and large wardrobe.

Our house

With residents parking, our house is a beautiful spacious period house with high ceilings, wood floors, big sash windows and lots of character. We have a lounge, a large, well-equipped kitchen-diner, 2 bathrooms & 2 loos. Our big pleasant garden is great for summer barbies, with lovely neighbours we treat with consideration. We have an excellent house-cleaner & a gardener.


You will be sharing with 3 housemates (including you totals 4 :-;) late 20s/mid 30s in arts and business. We enjoy relaxed chats around the tv, sometimes go out together, hold summer barbies & Xmas dinners. It's not a party house however, and we respect each other's need for a chilled and peaceful space to come home to. Interests include sport, film, music, cooking, yoga, fitness, socialising.

We are looking for non-smoking, mature, responsible and considerate persons late 20s/mid 30s, in full-time professional work, to share with. We want people who have a positive, pro-active attitude towards keeping the house clean and tidy - we do have a house cleaner but we all do our bit around the house to keep things pleasant for everyone.


Hackney Downs park is 2 mins away - great for morning runs! Hackney Central is 7 min walk, with great bars, pubs, restaurants, Hackney Empire Theatre, cinema, a couple of gyms, a pool & excellent shopping including a big Tesco. The river, rowing club & Hackney Marshes are all quite close, with the Olympic site nearby. Dalston & Stoke Newington are just across Hackney Downs park. Trendy Chatsworth Road Sunday market, shops, bars are a short walk.


Great transport - 8 mins walk to overground stations Hackney Downs and Hackney Central (8-10 mins train link to the City, Dalston Orange line, Highbury & Islington). More buses than you can count going just about everywhere - the City, West End, Tottenham Court Road, Victoria....... Area is Zone 2.
